im not even thinking about it when all of a sudden BAM this pain comes on. sometimes its a litle tingly pain that shoots around sometimes its an aching pain. and the thing is, these pains seem to come in the danger spots, that indicate a disease.
and how does therapy work? like what does the therapist do? i've always wondered
That is my life in a nut shell. I can't stop my mind from racing even w a slight twinge. I'm not having any luck however really connecting w a therapist. I found a new one a few mos ago but every 2 wks he goes on vacation for 2 wks so that is not good. I need to broaden my search and find one that is in the office more but I agree w Greenlydia therapy may help you try to find tools to help you difuse your mind always going to the dark side. Good luck.

This is a very common manifestation of anxiety, especially for those of us with health anxiety. We are hyper-vigilant about every little ache, pain, twitch, or spasm we feel anywhere in our bodies. Our mind immediately jumps to the conclusion that "something is very wrong," and we have an anxiety or panic attack. And everybody gets "random pains," it's how we react to them that sets us apart.
Before you wind up spending thousands of dollars at the ER for tests and scans you don't need, invest that money in some therapy. You'll not only feel better, you'll have some money left in the bank!
Peace
