Worried sick?

Overthe last two weeks I believe I have been "worried sick" I have been feeling bites of nausea and loss of appetite originally I thought I had contracted HIV and that was causing my appetite loss well I tested negative and have had no close calls at all then I thought I had a brain tumor when I felt a sensitive spot on the back of my head now that I've convinced myself I have no future due to death (I'm next to positive nothing is wrong with me) I am experiwncing the same loss of appetite I had when I thought HIV was a risk I had taken any relating would help greatly although I don't wish this feeling for anybody

So how long have you been having these thoughts of "death"?  Please don't take this wrong, but stop playing Doctor, get a physical to relax your mind. and move on, yes easier said then done, but takes work!

I hope you get help before this gets way out of control, there are people who look for every little thing wrong with them. (thats why I say don't play Doctor).

also work on stopping this before it gets out of hand, because if you start going to Dr. for every little thing, all you do is reinforce that danger is present. I spoke with a guy in this forum who would go to Dr all the time or call Dr all the time,, THIS DOES NOT HELP! THIS CAN ACTUALLY be worse for you, sends wrong message to your brain.

Hello there,

You are experiencing health anxiety. HIV and brain tumors are commonly seen here in the anxiety community. Since you have been tested negative for the HIV test you should not care about HIV. Now brain tumors...First of all brain tumors are not diagnosticed by feeling a sensitive spot on your head. They most of the time implies neurological effects. Maybe get a CT-Scan to ease your mind you have nothing in your brain is a good idea but i'm pretty sure it's nothing but anxiety.

Anxiety is something you should address with a qualified therapist before thinking about taking anti-anxiety medications or anti-depressants. Physical activity and healthy diet is a natural way to fight anxiety as well as keep your mind busy doing things you like and being with friends.

Loss of appetite is also frequent in people with anxiety so it's probably not due to a medical condition. Try to be more active if you experience appetite loss maybe it will increase your appetite since you will waste more energy so your body will need the food.

One last word: Anxiety is a curable condition and you are not going to die and there's certainly a future for you and we are always here to help if you have any more concerns.

Best regards,
M4
