Hi, I do that every day and I think it is the anxiety. Go and lie down and try to relax. Tense up your thigh mucles for about 7-10 seconds, release quickley and it will help your breathing. Or at least it does mine. My thearapist told me to do that. You can tense any muscles and it works as well. I have weaned myself off Xanax and I am weaning myself off of Ambien, got a couple of days on that one, but I am 8 days off Xanax. My doctor wants to put me on Zoloft, but I don't want any drugs..... Good Luck.
How about prozac I took it for today's. Noto
Ice the same thing
I had this problem. Never took Zoloft, but when the problem (commonly called "air hunger") hit me this summer, I had my heart and lungs checked out. Once doc said they were fine, and that I didn't have asthma, I got to work. I took B-complex, C, Magnesium/Calcium, Omega 3-6-9. I started walking briskly every morning. OH--and the biggie: I got my thyroid tested in a full thyroid blood panel. Found out I was hypothyroid, and meds for that helped my "air hunger" problem oh-so much!
In my opinion, I'd not jump into psych meds for air hunger or anxiety. You might just have a physical reason for anxiety. Do plenty of googling into supplements for anxiety. AND, get a full thyroid and adrenal panel.
God bless you. There is oh-so much HOPE!
maybe its just a bit of an anxiety attack?
I'm not sure about Zoloft, but I know I've been having a hard time getting deep breaths with anxiety.
Love...
I dont know about Zoloft, but I do know I have a hard time taking deep breaths I almost feel as if im suffocating.
