Anxiety and headaches/ strange feelings

Hello all,

I have been suffering with anxiety and panic and  little agrophobia for over a year now.
I just wanted to know whether anyone else suffered from heaaches with their anxiety?
I have painfull shoulders, neck, jaw and head. The pain changes a lot, sometimes its sharp and lasts a few seconds, sometimes it hurts behind my eyes for days, sometimes it feels like my sinuses and sometimes my head just feels really weird, as if theres a bubble in my head. I also worry constantly about having a stroke or hemmoridge or something, im consumed by thoughtrs of death all day.
I just wanted to know whether anyone else out there has the same sensations/fears as me? Im only 22, I dont want to be like this forever.

I take diazipam when im having a bad attack but take no other meds.

Thank to all who reply

Stress causes muscle tension, and a headache is the result of muscle tension.  Are you in therapy?  Also, there are natural remedies that might help, such as supplementing with magnesium citrate and skullcap.  There are also relaxant herbs, but you have to be careful with them since they work on the same GABA receptors as the benzo you're taking.  I would highly recommend meditation and breathing exercises to relax the body, and get regular sleep -- too much or too little can also lead to headaches.

I am suffering the samething... I was diagnosed with PTSD, clinical anxiety and depression in 2004 and have been living off and on with the same exact symptoms as you just described. In fact, I have been having painful headaches and a stiff neck for weeks now along with sore shoulders and sore back. Motrin and a hot shower seems to help a little bit, but the pain remains. Im not taking any medication (i probably should), but my headaches are very random. Todays flavor seems to be a "tension headache"..who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I have an appointment with an ophtamologist on wednesday and I will more then likely make an appointment with a nuero sometime next week.
