I also take 20 mg Celexa in the am.
My doctors nurse just said it should be fine. I'm just nervous to take them in the first place.
My understanding is it's not okay to take two different benzos. I'm sure some people do get prescribed them, but if one isn't working it probably isn't the right med for you. Was this prescribed by a psychiatrist, or did you just happen to get some pills of the second benzo? Because if it was prescribed, well, it still might not be okay, but at least a doctor was involved. I know I had a problem when a psychiatrist prescribed me Xanax to take when I was already taking clonazepam -- the Xanax gave me new phobias. I always assumed it was the cross action between the two benzos, but it could just have been a bad reaction to the Xanax.
Yes, my pdoc prescribed these. She told me before not to take them together. I hadn't taken anything in a few days and really needed some relief yesterday morning so I took the Ativan. Since the nurse said it was okay, I took the Klonopin at 9:00 last night. It was the first time I took a whole .5 dose. This morning was also the first time I have been woken by the alarm clock in a while. I usually wake a few hours earlier.
