citalpram can some 1 help?

hello people i have sufferd from pannic attacks for about a year now. i been to the docks loads of times about it he offerd me tablets but i neva took em cause i was scared what they will do to me. anyway bout 5 weeks ago i got so pised off of bein like this fought nothin can be as bad as feelin like this. so anyway i went their and he gave me sum citalpram10mg   i started takein it at first it made me feel really ill   i had all the nasty sideaffecs.  all i did was lie on my bed and try n sleep it made me feel that bad i rang the deocks and he said it will make me feel like that untill it gts into me system. so i carried on takein them they made me feel like that for 2 weeks than on the sataday i felt okish i went out and did a lot that day i fought i was gettin better i was so happy than on the monday i started gettin this nasty feelin it was like my soul was tryin to get out of my body felt like i was in a dream world everythin felt so so so unreal it was so scary that went on for bout a week and 3 days again ppl said they can make u feel like this  than that feelin passed and i started to feel abt better again for like 1 day  now im just cummin up to the 5th week and for this past week i have felt unreal again not as mutch as i did last time  but i feel unreal again it scares me feels like im goin brain dead i try and think and its soooo hard    and i also feel really tierd and week   has any1 ever felt like this beofre. it scares me thinkin im the only 1   thanks

Meds are different for everyone.  I'm on Lexapro, and had nothing like what you're describing, but had other stuff, besides it not working very well.  We're all individuals.  If you feel this isn't the med for you, there are others.  If you feel you want to give a little more time, you can do that, too.  It's up to you, not your psychiatrist.  Good luck.

hi, i was on prozac which is similar and had the same symptoms doc took me off them as he said it was a allergy to them i also had a rash ,go back to the doctors might be the same

Yes I have been on this same dose; I had the reactions you describe at first; it was real bad fatigue for aabout 4 weeks but it did go away/ also feeling bad and like it was out of body.  But it is much better and you should keep on it to ward off anxiety attackes.\\

you also need a counselor to talk to while you are going thru it.
