hi boogie, the same thing has been happening to me recently and i no how frightening it can be i got so bad i ran into my brother for help and lucky he had, had the same expierence when he talked me round i felt so much better after i had all the same symtoms as you. now when it happens i try tell meself its just panic and that ill be ok if i need to get up and distract myself i will just so im not thinking about what just happended.
hi boogie, thats happened to me quite a few times actually. the sudden waking put my adrenaline in overdrive and all the classic symptons you mention were there except the sick at my stomach part. usually my initial reaction of "oh my god i stopped breathing" caused me to have a short panic attack but once i fully woke up and got cobwebs out, so to speak, i was able to calm down and realize that i was in fact still breathing. i think it was mostly that startlement knocking me out my sleep that really caused all the other panic-related feelings to happen. it happens every once in a while so i guess for me there is some normalcy to it
