Look, the Doc you asked is right -- EKG's aren't very useful because they're taken when you're feeling fine and at rest. But it's also very unlikely you have a heart problem, and if your symptoms showed one your doctors would have recommended more intensive testing. One never really knows, medicine isn't really all that effective -- we have a lot to learn. You can always get another test that's better and another that's better than that one. It's all up to you and your doctor as to how far you want to take things. I think what everyone here is telling you is that with the number of times you've complained of heart problems no doctor has found it a real concern so perhaps it's time you considered you don't have a heart problem.
No one here is sick of you posting. It's what this forum is all about, being there for each other and helping each other with our anxiety.
Well, I do agree with that Dr. But, you are so very young. The chances of you having any kind of heart problems is just about none. I know you want to hear there is 100% no chance though.
I'm not sure how much a stress test costs. I did have one done years ago but we had insurance then so it was paid for.
I think if your Dr felt that you truly needed these tests he/she would help you find a place and a Dr that would work with you on the cost.
what would make you think you need a test? do you have chest pains? if you do, go to the ER. They have to treat you & they sign you up for medicaid if you can't afford to pay for it
