How to over come Anxiety people.

I feel like when I'm alone I don't have much anxiety but when I'm around others it comes on and grows.  It's like my body and mind gets tighter.  

Is there any natural remedies or things that can be done to help this?

I just did -- Natural Highs.
And there are a bunch of books on CBT -- there's one called something like the Anxiety Workbook or something like that.  Also one called, ironically enough, Don't Panic.  A bunch of them.
You could try a philosophy book because anxiety has existed from the beginning and people have had to deal with it. Perhaps a quote will stick out that gives you strength that you can focus on.

CBT therapy might be helpful, as it will eventually expose you to this situation after giving you tools to understand it.  As for natural remedies, there are two ways to use them -- as temporary palliatives or as systemic attempts to correct any imbalance in your system that might be causing you to experience excess anxiety.  Take a look at a book by Hyla Cass, a psychiatrist at UCLA, called Natural Highs for an overview of the subject.

Have you read any books on the subject or located any support groups in your area? Therapy might be useful if you are unable to overcome it on your own, because that is one on one.
