Hey! YES, those lovely heart palpatations are from anxiety. I had them before i had the panic attacks, but they have gotten worse now. However, i have been caffeine free for two weeks and i have seen a big reduction in them. So, maybe try to cut out the caffeine if you can?
Best of luck to you!
Could very well be a anxiety. In response to anxiety and panic, an adrenergic response takes place.(increase release of adrenaline) Heart palpitations are a very normal response to stress and are usually benign. What is your caffeine intake like? This can aggravate the condition sometimes causing a person to throw more palpitations and ultimately making them feel more anxious as a result of an increase in the frequency in palpitations. I would recommend eliminating caffeine to see how it affects things. If this continues for more than a week, I would highly recommend talking with your doctor. He may want to check the catecholamine and cortisol levels in your blood. These could indicate an abnormal level of stress hormones. Are you currently taking any medications? There are thousands of medications that could be causing this.
Hope things resolve,
Kevin
From my understanding, heart palpitations are harmless in a structurely normal heart. If you are really concerned, go see a cardiologist to make sure you arent having any major issues. But I am willing to bet you are just like the rest of thousands of us on here that have these issues. And for a great deal of us it is related to our anxiety.
pamon symptom of anxiety and stress although if you haven been checked by a doctor then it might be worth going jus to check you out and also put your mind at rest
