Why does my right temple throb when I get stressed?

Last week I had a blow out with a coworker and towards the end of our blow out my right temple started to hurt. I tried taking tylenol and other things and this went on for 4 days, it subsided but is there again whenever I get stressed or elevated heart rate. What is wrong with me? It's like something broke inside of me when I was yelling at this person. Has anyone else had this happen? And is this just the way it's going to be now? Everytime I get mad my temple hurts, I'm actually scared and have cried over this.

Anxious or insecure people can get headaches when they encounter very stressful situations.  If getting overstressed is a chronic problem for you, you might want to see a therapist and learn some relaxation techniques that might keep you from exploding, such as meditation, exercise, etc.  And yeah, this used to happen to me whenever I got into an anxious or insecure situation.  It's pretty common.

Thank you, this makes me feel better. I'm going to make an appt. next week to talk to my doctor about this. It's concerning bc like if I laugh too hard or over exert myself in any way now it happens.
I'd only say I don't really see anything a doctor can do for this.  I mean, the only thing a doc can do is give you some drug or other and this sounds like something you can fix without that by seeing a therapist and learning some relaxation techniques.  My advice is to see a psychologist who specializes in treating anxious and insecure people, not a doctor.
Well, I tested it out last night and tried going to the gym to see if physical activity triggers me too and I started having the headache so I switched to bike, the sitting down helped but was still there so I quit. I got home and started to feel worse after sitting down and relaxing so I went to bed. This is driving me crazy. I'm going to see what my doctor says today and if there is nothing medically wrong with me I will go see a shrink. I thank you for your time and advice.
So I took your advice Paxiled and I made an appt with my old therapist. I saw my reg doc yesterday and they ordered an MRI which will cost me a fortune out of pocket, I can't do that. My headache is gone today, but I am feeling very anxious. It just doesn't sit right with me that I have something really wrong with my head when I don't have the symtoms all the time, just when stressed or elevated hr.
You're adding new stuff here -- when you say exercise made it worse, that can suggest something going on with your circulation -- migraines, for example, are a circulation related type of headache.  Does your neck hurt?  Pinched nerves from the neck can cause headaches, but you'd know, your neck would hurt.  Are you also saying you don't have any health insurance?  I'm curious, what did your doc say the MRI was for -- your neck?  Your shoulders?  Or something in your head?  I guess if my doc ordered an MRI I'd probably get it done depending on why the doc said to get one.
Yes exercise did make it worse. I've been off caffeine and alcohol for over a week and my symptoms have subsided. Neck does not hurt but I'm seeing Chiro today to rule that out. I went back to the doc today for a follow up and she agreed with my symptoms subsiding that we cancel the MRI. I have a Physch. apt wed. Yes, I have health ins but deductible isn't met yet so I'm paying out of pocket for all of this. Now, there are several situations causing me anxiety that were not there b4 my blow out so I'm leaning towards my anxiety has returned with a vengeance! Lol!

Nothing broke. Likely you are just over analyzing your body. Relax and it likely will not be a problem.

I have tired using my CBD oil and relaxing, it seems to help a little.
