Zertec

I am so sleepy today. I took a Zertec last night for my allergies and today I just cant seem to feel awake. Its a catch 22 for me bc when im tired I get anxious and now im both and dont want to take any more than the .125mg of xanax I took earlier bc I will be a zombie at work. And sipping on coffee.
Does anyone know how long does a antihistamine like zertec stay in your system?

Hi Nursegirl

I went to my car for about 30 mins during lunch and closed my eyes..didnt sleep but feel a bit more rejuvinated.Added some more coffee too.  It stinks bc Zyrtec is the only thing that helps clear my nasal passages & I used to take it daily but since my panic has been greater than my allergies i have stopped bc i do take xanax.

Sounds like you have a "Zyrtec" hangover going on!  :0) It happens.

Sometimes it just takes a power nap to rid yourself of that residual drowsiness.  If that doesn't help, or you can't power nap...then you should feel better within 24 hrs (much sooner probably)!!!
