I wouldn't give up on medication. There is an adjustment period of up to 6 weeks, plus if it makes you feel too bad, always call the doctor to verify if what you're feeling is a normal thing while adjusting to the meds. There are many different medications and sometimes it's trial and error as they find what will work best for you. I would question the strength of your glasses, it sounds like it may be too much. Your eyes usually don't change that much in just two months, and if the script is too strong, this will cause the headaches. This has happened to me, they do make mistakes often with glasses. There is sometimes a short adjustment to new glasses, a day or two, but if it's longer and you're having headaches, the glasses are way too strong for you. Did you get new glasses because you were having problems with the old ones? Try going back to your old ones, and if the headaches go away, you'll know what was causing them. If you had major eye issues, it would be found in your exam, so don't worry about that. It's natural to shed hair everyday, and the longer the hair the more shedding you will see. Again, go back to your doctor and talk about other medications for you, there is something that will help you. Then be patient with it, and if after 6 weeks you don't feel better, call the doctor and tell him.
thansk mammo..
it was diagnosed as adjustment anxiety near the beginning when i started having issues... but the hair loss seems to be within the last month or so.. (that i have noticed)..
done the medication thing with the anxiety and had no luck at all.. ended up stopping after weeks of pretty much feeling like hell..
my other issue at moment is that i have had glasses recently and just had the script changed to stronger ones (in less then 2 months from original glasses)- so ive got concerns whether i have major eye isseus with the speed they are changing.. also massive headaches due to the new perscription.. i cant win...argh..
thanks again.
Before assuming it's anxiety, I would see your doctor to rule out any thyroid issues or any other physical problems. Then see a professional about the anxiety where you can get into therapy and learn how to relax, and cope with things. They may even prescribe medications. If it turns out to be anxiety, please check back in with us, we have many here with great advice to offer you, as well as support. Take care.
