Sounds to me like you have some depression going on with a bit of anxiety mixed in. I would suggest a visit to your doctor to rule out any physical reasons for your symptoms. If at all possible, when you notice the rapid breathing, lay down and just concentrate on slowing your breathing down...........good deep breaths that you exhale slowly will help with not only your breathing, but will help you relax in general. But do see your doc for a check up.

thanks alot ive never been like this you know it started like i would say 2 years ago i never used to get easily irritated and sometimes i talk a bit to much and then i stop and realize like omg my boyfriend said get a pregnancy test but i dont think its that..i guess it could be stress related i used to get chest pains when i am stressed and also i have ongoing continuous sinus infections so sometimes...most times i cant tell if its stress or the infection..but the rapid breathing starts when im lying down(have a small heart murmur also) it hardly ever starts when i standing up
