ok i should know this answer i have had anxiety for 20 years but i havent had bad symptoms fora while.........now i can feel my heart beating under left breast thru my back and across the top of my shoulder..i take a xanax and its no better.......i ust get to feel good and then i get something else..i had this on friday and now today i took a baby asprin...my cardologist has told me other than high cholerstal and very mild small vessell ischemai....oh something else my left arm is tingling.............im ahyperchrdiac and have somaztion syndrome and anxiety and depression..im on xanax,prozac,wellbutrin sr.and adderall........does anyone elsse feel their heart beating like this

I definitely will at times feel this way. It's my anxiety kicking in.

Yeah, I feel the same thing all the time. Since a while I always feel my heart beat and i'm having anxiety problems (social, panic with agoraphobia, general anxiety, somatization...) and a lot of anxiety related symptoms 24h a day who seem really weirds to me (chronic fatigue, chronic tension headache, eyes pain, jaw pain, back pain, dry mouth, inner tension...), I can't stop thinking that i'm having something else than just anxiety!!!!

Since I can't start an antidepressant med to help me to cope with this, i'm now med sensible, I only have the Rivotril up to 8 mg day to help me to be more relax but too bad it's not working anymore on me and no other benzo works...

So most of the time, I freak out because my heart go faster or too slow (yes, now i'm having panic attack with low pulse rate... as well as high blood pressure with low pulse rate)... that's crazy... it's like this since 8 months now, so I hope it will not last for another year because I will become crazy!!!

Well, you're not alone!!! You can relax, well try to relax at least!!! lol ;-)

i do quite alot,sometimes it is in my head,it sounds like someone playing drums up there it is so strange and frightening,i dont take any meds,i have had all tests done and everything is fine,so it is just me ,my heart also feels like it misses a beat and then dances around my chest.
