HIV Anxiety

I had a hiv rapid test today, (the one with the drop of blood tested for antibodies) well it took all my guts to go in, and i wanted to have the rapid test done to fnd out once and for all (ive worried about this for the guts of a year) and i really thought i would be ecstatic when i saw negative. The doc sends all his tests off to be confirmed reactive or otherwise and to test for other things too. I was so happy when i saw a negative result, for an hour i was floating on air. Then i came home turned on the computer and see there can be false negatives, and now im in a state of panic again, and wont get the confirming result until monday. The doc said it was a highly strong negative result. What the hell is wrong with me??? This rapid test is six months after my last possible exposure of unprotected sex.
