Let me reassure you that even if it IS fluid, it is not going to harm you, and while dizziness can occur with fluid in the inner ear, if it hasn't happened to you yet, it likely isn't going to. BOTH of my ears are basically totally clogged and I can hear the fluid inside wooshing around, and yet I have not yet had any pain, or other symptoms (dizziness),thank goodness.
Again, just an educated guess...get to your doctor to rule it out either way, and like I said, if it is fluid, it is harmless and will just take some time to dissipate.
when the clicking and crackling goes away when i wake up in the morning and it doesnt happen everyday....only like once in a while...and it doesnt crackle everynight or throughout the day....i hope its not fluid....i dont want to be dizzy....last year they ssaid i had fluid in my ear an i had labryithisis...but i didnt ever have really bad vertigo....or really any vertigo....and i wnt to an ent a few week later and he said i could have NEVER had labyrhtitsis...soo idk...i hope it isnt tht again or something else...im soow rorried.....i hope its not fluid.......
Your best bet would be to see your doctor to rule out any kid of ear infection...although my educated guess would be that you have fluid in your ear. My ears have been horribly clogged and fluid filled for over a month as a result of a bad head cold that "settled" in my ears, more or less. These kinds of symptoms are also common with sinus issues.
Therefore, make an appt with your doc and have him/her have a look-see. Usually those kinds of issues are harmless, and more just annoying than anything else. If it is fluid build up in the inner ear, it takes a LONG time for it to resolve, and there are some medications that can improve the symptoms a bit....but it still takes time. Trust me, I know all too well about it. It stinks.
Let us know what the doc says!
