Has anyone ever had anything like this?

I have been suffering from feeling dizzy or lighthead and it is always with me from the time I wake up in the morning until I try to sleep at night I cant sleep my mind is just racing with what if... because I really feel like there is something wrong with me and no one will listen all the doctors I have seen say there is nothing medicaly wrong with me and they tell me its anxiety and depression they gave me ( buspar ) I took it for 2 weeks and got much worse the dizzyness was worse and I started crying all the time so they took me off it and I am waiting to see a shrink on july 15th which is the soonest I could get in. What I am asking is has anyone with anxiety or depression ever had dizzyness that never goes away???

Absolutely, anxiety can definitely cause dizziness. That is one of my main symptoms that I have had. I am now on Lexapro which has helped me immensely and I know longer have the dizziness. I'm sure your psychiatrist will be able to point you in the right direction with talk therapy and medication.

Best of luck :)

Hi there. I was also told the same thing about the fluid in my ears and the tmj but no one could tell me how to make it better. I can't believe I just have to learn to live with feeling this way everyday of my life. It was really nice to hear that there are some people who have the same symtoms as me. maybe I should try what you are with the vitamins an eat better. thanks

I can totally relate to you.  I know how frustrating it is to hear from doctors that the way you are feeling is from anxiety...I have been battling anxiety and panic attacks for over 9 years now.  I too get dizziness and I was told that it was from fluid in my ears.  When I went to the ent he told me it was from tmj.  So I can't get a straight answer.  So I've decided to just try and really take care of myself.  I am starting to take multi vitamins and I try and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.  I need to start adding excercising into my daily routine.   I think I might try yoga....I think if we start taking care of ourselves maybe we just might be able to overcome this anxiety (I call it my mental cancer)!!!  I am new to this forum but everyone here seems to be really supportive.  I hope you feel better soon!!!
