What you describe is consistent with sub-optimum control of the asthma. Your low oxygen level is not so low that it is going “to kill” some of your brain cells but is worrisome as an indicator of poor asthma control, especially if your asthma is not compounded by COPD.
You might be a candidate for a trail of Xolair as it has been shown to promote asthma control, especially in those with a strong allergy component causing disease.
You might want to seek a second opinion to be sure that your therapy, including environmental control, is optimum.
Good luck
will moving to florida or southeast asia help my breathing/sleep apnea?
thanks Doctor! I'm terribly foggy and tired and can't work or study. I can't find a doctor to give me the xolair.
the only thing that helps is klonopin with an asv ventilator
