Tinea versicolor

I am 22 and Mexican . I have had these dry small white circle spots on my outer arms. My doctor said it was tinea versicolor . She told me to use selsom blue shampoo on it but it didn't work. I have had these spots since summer 2012. I need to get rid of them is there another way? A creme, medicine, vitamin, food? Please help me!

i have had this for almost 15 years.

you need to purchase selsun blue (1% selenium sulfide is the active ingredient) and shower in it for a couple of months.  a drop the size of a quarter is fine.  you can even mix it in with your daily wash and you will be OK.
