If you search on Google images you will find photos of the marijuana asthma cigarettes and packaging which were sold by Grimault, among others. In the literature of the 1900's these cigarettes were alleged to be able to stop a full-fledged asthma attack.

Marijuana cigarettes were sold at the turn of the century as "asthma cigarettes". Literature suggests they do aid in bronchodilation. Whether or not you could find a modern physician to agree to this is another issue.

I smoked marijuana once in my life. It was in my son's house and it was the first time I visited him that I did not have an asthma attack. I can't get marijuana for asthma in my state.
