Chest pain/ache

I have been having an knawing ache/pain in left side of chest.  Some days it is all day and some days it is hardly there.  I do have some respiratory problems that are seasonal.  Just wondering if anyone with asthma has this?

Thank you, I was wondering about that.  It seems like it went away for four days but we had a dust storm come in last night and today I have it again.

Have you suffered from this?

The symptoms you describe are often due to inflamation of the pleuritic wall, often due to a viral infection. It pays to go to a physician to have a film taken and an in-person ausculation and evaluation if this lasts more than a couple of weeks or the pain increases or if you have difficulty breathing. Usually this problem is self-limiting and goes away on its own.
