Hello,
I think you should go to the dr.
You posted on the asthma page. Do you have asthma?
Your symptoms are similar to what I can experience when I have bronchitis. That isn't serious for most people perse, but it does require propper treatment. However, your symptoms could be any number of other things. Acid reflux for example could aslo cause your symptoms.
A gerneral rule of thumb is if it has been going on longer than 2 weeks, it is time to see the dr. Asthmatics can't follow that rule with any thing respiratory related, we have to get in much faster than that or we could be facing serious trouble.
Feel better soon.
Thanks for your answer. No I don't have asthma - I didn't realize I was in the wrong section as I got here after a google search *blushes*. I will go to the doctor - Thanks!
Hey there. Please let me know how you are doing. I have had the exact same thing for months now. I have been to the Dr. serveral times (and actually just posted to this forum), and am going back tomorrow. Let me now what your Dr. comes back with.
Did you find out what this was? I am having the same issue.
I wanted to update this post as I think i finally found out what the cause was for the burning my chest. the problem was my mucos was really acidic and it was dripping down the throat and causing the burning when I would breath in. I just started taking Zantac and it has been eliminating the acidic mucos and stopped the burning..... so i guess what you can say is it was heart burn for me.
