Sounds like asthma. First is to go to your pediatrician, if they suspect asthma they will refer you to a specialist. My 4 year old got an allergy blood test and she came up positive for animal allergies. Shes been on daily breathing meds since. Just consider the option of asthma because denial can have consequences.
I suggest that you discus acid reflux with her doctor. The first step that is really effective for children is to raise the head of the bed about 6 inches. This uses gravity to keep the acid in the stomach. Her doctor should have other treatments to recommend and be able to tell you what if any medications should be used.
Have a blessed New Year.
my son is doing the same thing... just found out he has influenza b! maybe you should take your daughter to the doctor.
