He is going to a rhuematologist to test for an autoimmune disease. He was in children's hospital for 4 days last week. They tested him for every bacteria and virus there is. All came up negative.
A CRP is an indication of inflammation. Have they ruled out autoimmune diseases and does your son have any other symptoms that you are aware of ? It sounds like he may have an underlying infection and I can tell you that there are tests for various bacterias that the standard medical labs do not perform.
