I read an article from the Lupus Foundation stating there are 11 blood test to form a diagnosis of Lupus. You must test possitive on at least 4 of them. Hope this helps.
Lupus with negative ANA? Yes, but very uncommon.
98% of all people with systemic lupus have a positive ANA test.
Also a positive ANA is not enough to diagnose Lupus, even if one has classic symptoms.
I suggest you look into one of the possible underlying causes of Lupus:
Hypothyroidism and more specifically Low thyroid function.
There's a difference. Many patients fall through the cracks of the medical system, due to the limitations of tests and the disinterest of doctors -for a variety of reasons- to be more thorough.
Ask for Free T3 , Free T4 and Reverse T4. These will indicate thyroid function, whereas the standard thyroid tests (T3, T4 and TSH) only indicate serum thyroid levels.
Stress doesn't help for sure. Try coconut oil for some of your imbalances.
It is anti-fungal, anti-parasitic, anti-viral and anti-microbial.\
Great energy booster as well and it does not store as fat.
Don't abuse it though. It still has calories. Use it as replacement of other oils and fats. When used in cooking it is anti-inflammatory, since it does not alter though heat, unlike cooking oils.
5-6 Tablespoons is the therapeutic dose, but start with 2T daily, if you want to try it, and then increase gradually.
I only use extra virgin and I also use it to do "Oil Pulling" every morning,
for oral heath. Just do a search. A week into Oil Pulling and you'll wonder
how did you mange to do without this! It feels awesome and it works!
Any questions, I'm a click away.
Best wishes,
Niko
