Lisa- yea I def. learned that I need to eat by a certain time! I started eating breakfast again and that episode hasn't happened since. I'm usually always somewhat "dizzy" but able to function *thankgod* (I have a 3year old and a 2month old) I'm hoping I find a good doctor soon who can find a good combination of medicine for me and hopefully ill be almost completely "normal" *ahh of only*! Hope everyones well! X0x0
Oh yes I've been there and it is so embarassing to me to pass out in front of people because they feel helpless i think and dont know what to do - I've learned my triggers and know to eat by certain times, sleep; drink plenty and keep crackers or something in my bag. If i have the woozy feeling I put my feet up or excuse myself and tell others I dont feel so good and need to sit.
Family and friends are used to me being "sick" now; I usually tell strangers that I have a blood pressure and fainting problem and need to sit down so I don't embarass myself; that usually alleviates any comments or stares :P
Amo- yes that couldve been it. Also the fact that I was eating breakfast at 3pm :/ but yes I hope I feel better soon. I'm moving in the next few weeks and I need the energy! Hope you're well x0x0
Hi again! My bp was 126/61 and no I don't have an appt yet. I'm actually looking for a new cardiologist or someone who specializes in dysautonomia but I'm having trouble finding a doctor :/

What was your B/P while you were there?
Sorry that you are still not feeling well :( Yes, it r4eally is so scary to have that feeling of "Doom" come over you!
Hope you are resting and keeping hydrated. Do you have an appt to go and see either your EP or your Cardio to fill them in on what happened? I would at least call and inform them so that it can be put in your chart.
Your in my thoughts and Prayers!

Thanks a lot tonya! I wasn't admitted thankgod. They just did basic blood work. I didn't even wait for the results I just wanted to know what my bloodpressure was but I had to go thru the whole er process. I'm still not feeling too well :( it was just so scary cause I never fainted or been that close to it. But anyways I hope I get better soon :/ hope you're well! X00
Hey you! I am sorry that you have had to dealt with this.
I actually have had this happen to me many times while out in public (as well as at home). It is very scary! I had to learn to not allow myself to let the Fear on fear thing happen becasue that intensifies (sp) the feeling.
I put my feet up, if I am already sitting....If standing...I either sit where I am at or get somewhere I can sit to put feet up and recline a bit.
Did they admit you to the hospital or are they just running test and releasing you?
Again, I am soory that this happened to you. I ALSO have a portable B/P taker that I take w/ me everywhere I go! When I start feeling like I am going to crash, I sit and take my B/P...This gives me a heads up on what is going on...either Puls going up....what my Pulse Pressure is as well as my B/P.
One more thing, I also carry a Gatorade w/ me too.
Hope you are feeling better. Please let us know what happens and what the doctors say.
