Morning all. I used my doppler and heard the hb today. I was so happy to find it right away. I had stopped using it for a few weeks b/c it frustrated me and had me so nervous when I couldn't find it. I go back for an ob appt in 9 days but my anatomy scan seems so far away...6 weeks. So I'll just have to be patient until then.

Rosie, 11 days that is so close...I can't wait to find out!

Good Morning!  I hope you all had the day off!  I'm one of the lucky ones who had a floating holiday so I'm at work.  I'm trying to save as much vacation time as possible so I can get paid for most of my maternity leave.

Rossie- Wow only 11 days left.  I think it's a boy, by the way.

Lori- I hope your getting busy- I want to see you on this list soon :)

TeddieH-Just noticed your due on my birthday- I'm sure that must be good luck or something!

So the friend I was venting about a few weeks ago called me this weekend to make some plans, so I figured she must have realized how unreasonable she was being for not speaking to me because I was pregnant.  So I just didn't mention that it hurt my feelings and just let it be.  Well I found out today she is pregant as well (my finace is best friends with her brother)  She just found out on friday so is prob only 4 weeks or so, but I am so happy for her!  I can't wait for her to tell me the news :)

Natalie, - im so happy you found the heartbeat, yay. I used mine i think in thursday and heard it. ITs comforting every once in awhile since i don't feel the baby yet.

Steph i will keep that in mind, you think boy and Tinkerbell (Deb) said she thinks its a girl. I think boy too, but we will see, lol... i actually bought a baby outfit this weekend, yellow ofcourse, soo cute!!

Steph im glad to hear she is speaking to you and hopefully when she gets together with you she will tell you about her good news....

Natalie,  Yeah for you being able to hear the hb.  It helps so much to be able to hear it at home.  We had to order some more gel so I won't be using mine for a while.  

I go to the dr. in 8 days & get to find out when my u/s is going to be.  I can't wait to finally see our lil one.  Since I can't feel any movement yet, I atleast want to see it move on the screen!

Rossie, I am voting boy too!  Every one in our family is praying for a boy, so if we have a girl she is going to be wearing a LOT of BLUE!!! :)

Jenn, i knew i was having a girl with my daughter but since her eyes were blue, i loved putting blue on her, lol..... I can imagine you dying for you ultrasound appt as much as im dying for the 28th to get here.

so i have 3 votes for boy, 1 vote for girl.....

Jenn- My dr. told me KY jelly works jsut as good as the ultrasound gel.  I started using it when my gel ran out and haven't had any trouble finding the HB.

Hey everyone!!
I missed knowing how everyone is doing so I had a minute and stopped by to catch up.
I'm so glad everyone is doing well.  Last year there were lots of girls so I'm curious to see if this year has more boys!

Emma is doing great, I can't believe it's been 7 weeks already!  So far she's been a pretty easy baby, even letting me sleep at night!

I have a large (I think it's large) unused bottle of gel if anyone is interested, I'm not going to use it!

Had a great night last night. My daughter hasn't heard the baby's heartbeat and she asked me lastnight could we listen to it with th doppler. IT was such a wonderful moment when we found the heartbeat. Her eyes opened up so huge and she had such a smile of excitment... and it was a memorable moment for a mom. Heartbeat was nice at 147...

Natalie, hang in there because those 6 weeks will fly by.  Oh, and congrats on finding the HB.  I have been using the doppler less and less now that Chloë is practicing to be a champion kickboxer lol.

As for me, I have been doing fine. I have my glucose tolerance test next Tuesday and I'm really dreading it.  Anyone have any tips?  Ugh!

Morning ladies-  It does seem like everyone is doing well this week.

I'm just counting down days until my U/S, I have been having some mild cramps/ muscle strecting going on.  Just uncomfortabel, not painful and no bleeding- so hopefully nothing is wrong.  I did find the HB very easily last night 155bpm and sounded stong.  (Thank goodness for home dopplers)

Rossie-You are having quite the couple days- I can't wait to feel the baby move :)

Terri- I love the name chole- My finace has a cousin named chloe so we couldn't use it for us if we have a girl.

Lori- Tons of baby dust for you as always.

Hi everyone..I ran across a great site today. It is edh . org without the spaces. There are videos for each stage of pregnancies with a lot of information.
Just thought I'd pass that along.

Also, do you think it is ok to use the doppler once a day for a few minutes? I found the hb again quickly today and listened for about a minute...I just don't want to over do it.
