Thanks DMarie919 for responding. *hugs-hugs* It really made my day!
No, he didn't mention anything about my lining, only that it didn't look normal. It seemed like He didn't want to make any assumption as to why its abnormal. Against regulations or whatever. He sorta brush it off when DH and I ask what could still be in my uterus. During the u/s procedure, I did noticed something different with my uterus. I normally see the white lining but didn't see it this time. DH and I think its left over tissues after our loss. This is so frustrating. The BCP was able to control the bleeding and it finally stopped. I hope the meds will go and clean out my system so we can start injecting Gonal-F in December. Thanks DMarie919 for responding. *hugs-hugs* You
Yes she was put on BCP for 2-3 months. The dr. said it would take them a couple of months after being off of them to get pg. but she didn't even have a full cycle after she was off of them and she got her BFP. Hang in there! Did he say why the lining didn't look normal? Did he mean it didn't look normal for that part of your cycle either to be too thck or whatever?
Thanks! I feel so much better after hearing that your friend was able to conceive, Was she put on BCP as well?
He also mentioned that the lining did not look normal and believes that the BCP will go and clean the remaining tissues thats why he refused to have D&C done.
OH I can imagine your frustration :( I'm not sure why he didn't opt for the d&c or to be put on methargine to reduce the bleeding?
The only thing I can say about going on the pill after a loss is that my friend had a late term miscarriage (24 weeks) and she had problems with her cycle regulating the few months afterward (either not getting AF or abnormal bleeding etc) so she was put on the pill for 2-3 months to regulate things. But my happy news is the exact month she stopped taking them she got pregnant! So, please don't lose hope!
Maybe you should call and ask why the d&c wasn't a better option?
