Need some help...staying sane at 9 weeks?

I am so worried as my morning sickness went from really bad (8times throwing up) to not so bad the following day (1xs throwing up) to not at all the following day (today). I went to the doc. over a week ago and saw a healthy baby with an hb of 166, doc. said symptoms coming and going is normal...so my question is HOW do I keep from driving myself crazy? Is there anyway I can find out if my baby is okay without going to the doc? Anyone else have a similar experience that ended good? (morning sickness started at 6.5 weeks and lasted till 9 weeks). I still have a few of my other symptoms.

My m/s is back lol!! I just seem to go a few days with nothing and then it hits again. I hear there is relief in site, but I don't know if I believe it as my m/s is just bad...but I wouldn't trade it, I'd rather have it and be pregnant than feel great and not be!! Good news, I'm not obsessed with the doppler, I have decided to only use it on days were I have no m/s to ease my mind!!!
Missmyangel - NO fair!!! Glad everything was good though even though you drove yourself crazy lol!!

I was about to send you a note to reassure you, but sounds like everything is going good :)
I only had m/s for a week, and it disappeared at 7 weeks. Everything is ok with the lil one :)

Yeah I know, now I'll probably be obsessed with it, but that's okay, hopefully once I get past 13 weeks, I'll feel better and wont need to use it as much!!

that's great! Im glad you could pick up the heartbeat, you would have freaked out if you couldn't find it, even if it was there and just not picking it up!

Well, don't know if ya'll are still lurcking, but got my doppler yesterday at 9 weeks 6 days and heard the HB!! It stayed between 166-172, but mostly at 166-168!! The doc. had 166 and the ER had 171 so I think its pretty acurate, best money I ever spent!!

yeah, I was just happy that I wasn't crazy lol!! I knew something was up, just didn't know what!! My dh is very understanding, he knows that I worry constantly and I told him on Friday b4 I left for the ER that if everything was okay, we were buying a really good doppler b/c it would be a lot cheaper than going to the hospital once a week lol!! I only spent 70 dollars...I say only b/c dh was trying to get me to buy the $100 one!! He kept saying whatever you want though...I think that him telling me nothing was wrong and I was over-reacting on Friday got to him, especially when something was wrong, he told me later he was really worried when I told him my pulse was 130 (he showered me with kindness this weekend)!! I'll let you know as soon as I get the doppler, should be around the end of the week.

after they sent me to the ER to be re-hydrated i felt so much better. it didn't last long, but its amazing how being hydrated can help with the nausea!
im really happy you got to see the little bean again! im sure it was such a relief.
let us know how you like the doppler.  I decided not to get one... mainly because they are expensive.

Thank you girls so much! I was put in the hospital on Friday for dehydration, they let me see the baby at the ER though and the hb was 171, I knew something was wrong when I posted this because I felt "off" if that makes any sense, I of course thought the worst, I didn't even consider I could be dehydrated!! I threw up 4 times Friday night, but not sure if that was nerves or not...Saturday though was definatley m/s lol 5xs!! I did order a doppler, one of the expensive ones that say you can hear the hb as early as 8-10 weeks and by the time it gets here I will be about 10 weeks so we'll see if it works then!! I'll be praying for the both of you and again, thanks so much for easing my mind!!

I know how your feeling! when I miscarried the first time my MS changed just before I found out I lost the twins. so this time around, right at the date my twins didn't make it, my MS changed again.... BUT, if it makes you feel any better the MS came back, 10 fold! im sure you don't like the MS just as much as I hated it, but its so weird how it makes you feel things are going good when you have it. I was hoping I was going to be like my mum and not get MS at all.... yea, like I could be so lucky!!!! LOL

my advice to you is what everyone else told me to do... enjoy the days that the MS isn't so bad. if you are like me, some day were worse than others. I really wish i didn't stress so much and just enjoyed those days that it wasn't so bad. its only been a few days that it eased off for you... it has time to come back for sure.

im 15 weeks and haven't even seen an ultrasound or heard the heartbeat.... the first ultrasound was done at 7W6D at the ER and they don't let you look at the screen at the hospital so you don't get to see anything. and my new Dr got called to do an emergency C-section when i was supposed to hear the Heartbeat for the first time the other week, so its been really stressful for me this whole pregnancy.

Just hang in there! I know its so hard not, to but its not worth thinking the worst and causing extra stress.

I completely understand how you are feeling.  After my appointments I feel fine but then as time goes by I get nervous something is wrong again..and I'm almost 16 weeks and I STILL feel this way.  Many of the girls have purchased dopplers but 9 weeks is a little early for that...my best advice is to keep praying and knowing that the outcome is already decided and the more you worry about it the more it will just get to you.  I am trying just to focus on the positives and leave the rest to God.
