Severe back pain

I have been having severe lower back pain for the past 3 days.  The pain in on the left side and is radiating around to my lower abdominal area.  It is a constant pressure and on a scale of 1-10 feels like an 8 or 9.  I am feeling stabbing pain in my lower abdomen and think that this may be realted to the back pain.  What do these symptoms sound like?

Thank you for responding to my question.  I will definitely consult my physician and ask about acupuncture as the pain has remained the same.

It sounds like what you're describing is chronic soft tissue injuries in lower back region, which can become worse over time and lead to conductible pain in lower abdomen. Given the severity of your pain and the functional limitations it's now placing on you, it probably is time to consult with a reputable medical acupuncturist.I would agree that physical therapy, intensive acupuncture can be helpful, good luck!
