Is this a pinched nerve? o_o

hey my name is ryan, i'm 19 years old and about 3 days ago... as i was walking my dog i got a stinging/pinching feeling in my shoulder down my bicep.. and since theni  notice, when i tilt my head to the left i get the same feeling, or if i poke the right portion of my lower neck right above my collar bone i also get the stinging feeling down my Shoulderblade -> close to bicep area in my right arm...

any idea how this happened? is it possible for this to go away with time, or should i go see my doctor?

it isnt unbearable pain, and it isnt constant, but its causing me to limit my range of motion at the moment.

As long as it has not gotten worse by now it should be healing. You probably just pulled a muscle. If it gets worse get it checked out. Watch out for any numbness, tingling or burning in arm or shoulder. That is a sign of a pinched nerve and can lead to permanent damage. Best wishes, Sissie

Hey Ryan!

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possible causes that may need to be considered include nerve impingement, muscle pull/ spasm, inflammations,  injuries etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Meanwhile you could try using warm compresses and tylenol/ OTC NSAIDS for symptomatic relief.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
