I have had a few surgeries for discs, bone grafts, hardware put in, hardware taken out, scar tissue removed, donor tissue, put in, along with spine pain, it radiated down my left leg. This started 4 years ago, when I ended up having to search for a new neurosurgeon, which took 18 months. I was terminated from a job, due to not being able to walk at times, or pain was debilitating.
In March of this year, the pain increased and I had severe intense pain down my leg, dx with seroma, a drain was put in, for 2 weeks, seemed to be doing better, than a few days later, same pain, I went in and was aspirated. 2 weeks later I was on the table, getting a clean out wash, I felt great for 6 weeks, walking without walker, driving, I felt relieved. Mid September this year it was back, went in for aspiration, a week later a bellows drain put in, after a week it got clogged had to be removed. Im looking at another wash out next week. I am so tired of the pain and non functioning abilities I have.
However I was relieved to see I am not alone, its so hard to understand seroma......
