I have not been to the doctors yet. I have had 7 back surgeries. My cervical and lumbar. My most recent surgeries were October 2013 and feb 2014. Both on my lumbar from l3 down to l5 s1. Still having lots of left leg pain and pain in my upper back and shoulders. I have permanent nerve damage in my left knee due to the 4th surgery from a herniated disc, witch they took to long to operate. The cervical disectomy and fusion i had about 7 years ago was a botched surgery. I found this out recentally. One of the screws protrudes in my disc area and the bone never fused.

Pisces, the report notes that you've had a cervical fusion at cervical level C5-6, and that there is now a narrowing in the spaces where nerve roots C4, C5, C6, and C7 exit the left side of the spinal cord.

Sometimes this narrowing can cause symptoms and pain in the neck, shoulder, arm, hands, and upper back if those nerve roots are being compressed, however, the narrowing is reported as mild -- the lowest classification of trouble.

Treatment can include ice, manipulation, NSAIDs, and physical therapy.

What does your doctor recommend?
