can radiculopathy get worse?

I only had right arm/leg symptoms but the last two days I'm getting aches and pains in my left arm. Can radiculopathy get worse?

Also my husband on trying to get knotts out of my neck caused a hot burning sensation in the base of my head??? Is this normal? I'm on waiting list for physio so nobody to ask. Xx

Hi Phil, ive just had a letter today saying I'm going to have visual evoked potential test and evoked potential on lower limbs.

I'm on gabapentin from the second locum I saw but it's the first locum who ordered these tests.

I've read gabapentin can interfere with the results of this test but the letter says just to bring a list of any tablets I'm taking. Can't get through to his secretary.

Do you know anything about this? You seem very knowledgeable so thought I'd ask. X

Yes, radiculopathy, which is radiating pain from nerve injury, can get worse. If it is radiculopathy, it can get worse.

Burning pain after a neck massage is not normal.

I imagine that you may have a cervical problem, so it is important that you follow up with your doctor about this.
