I would suggest popping in on the thyroid forum here and talk to some of the members there.
It is possible for a thyroid issue to be a cause of some of ur issues....
Not to say there is nothing else going on...ur vagus nerve may be involved as well.
I am so sorry u r having pain.....the pharmacist at ur local drug store should be able to help u locate something to help u with in what u can afford.
We r in the same boat with no insurance.....so I understand ur frustrations.
yes i do have a nodule on my left side thyroid,that can cause me to have a problem swallowing? its all on the left side too,had cat scan neg, did a barium swallow,nothing wrong there either,but i still feel something in my way,when i swallow ,ya scar tissue also surgery was March 22nd, so im just stuck feeling like this to,new orth. doc says c7,c6 are fused jury still out on c5,c4,i have to get a mri and speech therapy? dont know how that will help me swallow normal again but it all really ***** lots of pain and just lost my health insurance ended yesterday really screwed had a fill in pharmacy guy who played god for me too,refused to fill pain meds my doc. called in on Friday so i had a bad weekend in pain.but i will bring my info to doc when i get some new coverage,hard and very exspensive when u have pre-ex.cond. thank you for info. Hi...did u get ur thyroid checked for nodules?...it can sometimes play a role in issues like this.
...u mention where they went in thru the front...if u had surgery b4, mayb u have scar tissue?
