Chuck;
Was just thinking. If your doctors are telling you did not fuse from a surgery in April that is 6 months ago. From my experience if the fusion has not taken by 6 to 8 weeks it will not just spontainously fuse by itself! I think it is to late for a growth stimulator, it needs to be used from the start. The only way is to redo the surgery and start over. This really should be workers comps. problem. If your claim was accepted you need to contact them or your attorney about this. Workers comp. failed me and denied it all the to the court room. I WON. Had they accepted my case, and fixed my non-union promptly I do not believe I would have had three more surgeries and not be permenately disabled. This can go sideways on you if you don't agressivily seek the proper care you need. I've had 6 neck fusions C/3 thruC7 and 2 low back fusions.Where was your fusion?
hope I don't scare you
keep in touch
Yes you have helped alot! Thanks I wonder why he's telling my doctor is tellin me this?
chuck
Where was your fusion? The doctor is WRONG if he has never herd of a non-union, spine fusions are 50/50 maybe they will maybe they won't. I've had 6 neck fusions and 2 low back fusion. A couple of my neck surgeries did not fuse but were redone and fused. I wore a bone stimulator for my last surgery and I'm not sure it did anything at all. Part of my last fusion did not fuse but some of it did. If the stimulator worked only on part of it, why didn't it work on the other part? If the pain medication is not working stop taking it! Yes I would find another doctor if he is saying things like that. Your workers comp. carrier should be able to intervene and find you the right doctor, after all they want you fixed as soon as possible. Maybe you should look into a workers comp. attorney if you are having problem with them. If you do have a attorney on your case tell them about your problem and they can do the work for you finding another doctor.
hope I help
