scoliosis.

i was diagnosed with scoliosis a while back. i'm not sure if it's bad enough for surgery or even a brace, but it's causing a lot of problems. i can't even do simple tasks, such as bend over to bathe my dog for 10 minutes, without it hurting. i'm only eighteen and i don't know how to deal with this pain, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. also, not too long ago, i noticed that my left ribcage seems to stick out more than the right one. my right one actually sinks in. is this because of scoliosis?

hi.  not an expert, but i had what is referred to as functional scoliosis due to injuries.   i went to a kinesiologist who helped me alot.  if you can find an experienced pilates instructor the modality is very similar.  my friend who has scoliosis found a pilates instructor, who has it herslef as well, and they have made progress together.  she is also trying TENS.  kimpton.

If the curve of your spine is more severe - having an angle of more than 25 degrees - then a brace will be required.
If it is not so bad, acupuncture can help. The acupuncture cannot cure scoliosis, or correct the curve, but it can stop the curve from getting worse and relive pain due to inflammation.
And medical intensive acupuncture is better.

Need more information,contact me.
