Few on this site are happy all of the time.Mood swings are triggered by lots of things. Mine often just 'well up'. My OCD went undiagnosed, I bought thousands of books etc that I will never have time to read. Lots of other items too. I'm really manic when after something ~ once gotten I lose interest in general. Now after extensive drug & other treatment I can handle most, but not all things. Trick's to stay positive & make the most of the good times & not let the pitfalls down you. Yes mood changes that occur that fast could be rapid cycling but only a psychiatrist would be able to diagnose this in full. If you are not seeing a psychiatrist it would be worthwhile to follow up. If you are seeing a psychiatrist you should speak to them about this and also keep a mood tracker and print out the results for them so they could have a better idea of what's gong on.
