Anyone taking latuda?

Does anyone take latuda for bpd? I've been taking it for a while and it's been working pretty well. There's not much information on its use for bpd, only scizophrenia. Just wondering if anyone else has experience with it.

Hi, I have bilolar disorder and I was on Latuda a couple years ago. It caused me to have anger issues so I had to get off of it due to this reaction. It made me angry all the time... no patience... wanted to punch everyone in the face... I would contain my anger at work and then just vent later on to friends/family or myself when I got home, lol. Latuda filled me with rage... was terrible. :/

Sorry so long to comment back but it takes 2 weeks to start and it makes my life easier. I dont like depending on meds to make me "normal but its a miracle.

Is it still working for you ? Did you have any side effects or weight gain ?
My dr just started me on this day 2 but I also have anxiety really bad.
How long did it take to start working completely ?
Sorry for all the questions but there not a lot of info out there and I feel it's always good to get experiences from someone who has tried it
Thanks
Ger

It's FDA approved for depression and is also supposed to help with mixed phases.  I was tried on it but couldn't continue to take it, which I found highly disappointing.

I take 200mg of Latuda a night and iv been doing this for the past year and it works perfect. And I'm bipolar but I'm in psychosis a lot and hallucinate so that's why I'm on it I wouldn't see why to be on for any other reason

Hi there:  I too have bi-polar and have just added Latuda to my mix.  I also take Seroquel.  I have been on the Latuda for 5 nights.  So far I have not experienced anything out of the ordinary.  No twitching or anything.  Wondering if that will be starting anytime soon.  So far so good.

I have Bipolar and was prescribed Latuda a couple of months ago. I had a bad reaction to it so I had to stop after a month. I have heard it being prescribed for Bipolar so I wouldn't worry that you have seen it so much for schizophrenia. I asked those same questions too. I am glad that it is working for you. It's great when you find  something that works.
