What are your fears?
The seroquel helps with the fears. Also try and distract yourself and not watch the news or crime shows. All those just make my fears even stronger.
I had tachycardia from Seroquel at higher doses and I told my psychiatrist at the time and he said it was not of concern (in me) but its important to report any side effects to your psychiatrist of any kind. I do know that for me Seroquel did not work until it reached 300 mg. and I believe that is the lowest effective dose but you could ask your psychiatrist about that. If they approved you discontinuing an anti-depressent you will probably get some withdrawal symptoms regardless that will go away in time but like with anything its best to inform them.
nothing is totally perfect though. I have some tacycardia. I wonder if it's from the seroquel. I wonder how to stop it, because it's frightening sometimes. OR could it be from my AD which I stopped it today, most likely it's from the seroquel. I wonder whether it's a serious side effect.
My father has tacycardia but not from drugs, a natural one, he takes olive oil and says it stopped some time ago. i shall try that hopefully
Extremely grateful
If seroquel (my seroquel) helps dissipating fears as you said, then I am shooting 2 birds with one bullet.
God bless you ILADVOCATE, you are always there to boost my morale our morale.
incidentally, i am in a mania right now and taking seroquel to extinguish it, usually i take 50mg at most daily, but in mania i increase the dose. But never exceeded 100. Today I took 150 till now and will reach 200 by night. Strange I start feeling well, seemingly i am approaching the therapeutic dose as you said.
thanks again and thanks to astra zeneca
With bipolar all these issues overlap so the Seroquel should be of help.
