You failed to mention what meds were raised Also  what is it that your doctor wants to monitor Depression or Mania? Is this doctor a pdoc or a general p. Do you trust him in  his knowledge of Bp. My husband has been with me through it all He goes with me to my T when we need to work on some issues or If he  has a question He  also goes with me to the pdoc.as needed.   We actually have a list of things for him to do when I am cycling   This way I don't set him up to fail Good luck..I'm here to talk if you need to.As far as montoring yourself you may want to employ your husband to help. Sometimes out thoughts about how we are feeling can be distored.....

There are lots of good websites, some of them are listed on our healthpages.  If you look at the top right hand side of the page you will see "health pages" if you click on that you will see "useful bipolar and depression websites".  You will find a list there.

We're also happy to answer any questions on here so don't worry about asking anything.

Its good that your husband is taking an active part, support from a partner is a godsend when you have BP as he can look out for behaviour that you yourself won't be aware of.
