need just a small raise

my depression is usually not severe, still i can't function without an antidepressant. Thus the dilemma --> manic --> antipsychotics --> lethargic --> antidepressant ... i.e. the usual

My meds are the least dosage: 1mg risperidone, 25mg seroquel, 12.5mg stablon (AD) but it's the instability that suffocates me.

So if I can find some supplement adjunct to my AD then i can lessen my dosage of AD which in fact i tried it once and found myself doing well but my energy was low. I heard that addreal can be useful. Perhaps abilify is an AP that works alone without an AD.

Would you kindly suggest something. i.e. abilify say if it doesn't really need an AD. or aderal or ANYTHING else to give me a little of elevation
thx
ezz

sure lamictal is best in my view in fact had i been a doctor i would have given lamictal+seroquel as the perfect combo to all my patients. Unfortunatrtely i tried lamictal 2mg infantile and though helped me, i got a seizure which is a very strange effect

I have heard that Lamictal has helped a lot of people and is not as sedating as some of the other meds. Good Luck!

Abilify has been activating for me, I don't sleep but 3 or 4 hours at a time ever since I started taking it.

I've also heard Abilify is activating. After being on it for a month, my own opinion of it is whatever it was doing to me was very weird. I was always moving. Tapping my feet, fidgeting, shaking and twisting my hands. I felt like I was bouncing around. And then my heart would start racing and I would literally have to grab onto something and hold on while this surge was just racing through me. It was like panic but, much much worse. So.... I won't be trying that one again.

I would say for adderal you should be checked out for ADD. You'd mentioned before that you can't concentrate. So, maybe you could try that. Just be careful with it since it is very addictive.

Abilify is supposed to be activating...might give you a little lift. I'm taking it now, but might end up on concerta anyway due to cognitive issues.
