Effexor side effects

Hi i am trying to find out if any1 else who takes effexor has had as many side effects as i have, which is basically them all including seizures and blackouts? I was on 375mg put due to the risk of another seizure have dropped down to 300mg. Has anyone else experienced as many side effects and do you think its worth all the side effects to be be ?( stable for now neway) .The doctors seem to think its worth it but then they dont have a load of side effects to deal with.

I tool effexor for a year and it made me feel like a zombie -- so exhausted all the time, could barely put one foot in front of the other.  I also gained 50 lbs. on it. But it did help with my depression symptoms.

The doc kept saying the effexor was not causing my problems.  However, when I insisted he take me off it and give me something else, my side effects went away quickly.  I would not take effexor again

I have been on both i was taking the hexagon shaped ones when i was on 375 mg but now im on 300mg so im back on the capsules.

Hi, are u taking effexor xr (slow release capsules) or the effexor peach/beige hexagon shaped ones?
