Rliz is right. You may need to see your doc asap for the thoughts and the cutting Are you on meds and seeing a therapist?
I am saying prayers for you right now I know I have been suicicdal and each time I ended up checking myself into hospital and that is what saved me.
Please keep coming here to post .We will help you get through this. We understand like nobodyelse can as we have been there where you are. you are special and you are loved.
I will look for your post.
Love Venora
Thank you for coming and "bending" our ears...mine stood up too straight anyway. :)
I don't know where you live but you can call 311 and ask for a well check, you may be shuffled off to a few people before getting to the well check. They will come and assess you and give you an opinion of how serious they view your immediate danger.
Having thoughts of suicide is only the first step to going from a 3 on a 1 -10 scale to full blown plan.
I know that cutting is a way to release pain, my bp1 niece does it but it will lead to deeper and deeper bleeds.
Will you please keep coming here. We are all here because of our synapsis being whacky. We all understand and you are not alone.
I ranted and raved yesterday and today I feel good.
Get your meds looked at by your psychiatrist, full blood panel and start journaling all will help.

Thanks heaps all for your help, I live in Australia. I saw me doctor yesterday (Monday) and he has put me on Abilify. Lets hope that helps, guess what, work time (again) Louise
Thanks to all for your concern, I am feeling better but unfortunetly that can mean nothing as my mood goes up and down. 311 sounds like our CAT team in Aust. See how the Abilify goes Louise
Hi, We all understand that frustration of never knowing what our mood is going to be. Once you are on a good medication or combination of medication these swings in mood become less severe. It sounds to me that maybe you aren't yet on the "right" combo which is why the swings are so diverse.
I'm glad today is a better day for you. It is worth doing the mood tracker (you will find the link at the top of the page). It is something you can print off and take with you to your next psych appointment and will give a clear indication of how much you are swinging and the feelings you are having.
I am not familiar with Abilify - I hope this starts to improve things soon for you.
hi. know well what you are going through and still have plan for May even though meds are helping a little now. started abilify a few weeks ago and taking 10mg mornings and 5mg three times/day after that. it does help with depression and suicidal urges but am eating a lot. taking diet pills and patches to try and counteract this! am also on lamictal, lexapro, thyroxine xanax and rivotril (klonopin, clonazepam depending what country you're in!) the last two as needed.
i really hope you feel better soon. a lot of us are survivors of abuse in a lot of different forms so vent here any time. we do understand where you are coming from.
btw am also cutting and trying my best to stop. it really is such an addiction. each time i stop i go four, five or six days and off i go again!
