I would tell my doctor what I was doing and let them instruct me as to the benifits of Medical Marijuana... as for me it would not be an option as I am a recovering addict and my body would not knowthe difference for medicial or recreational....I am also treated medically for Bi-Polar, rapid cycler..
Hi there,
As we don't know where everyone is from as marijuana is now legal for medicinal purposes in so many places now, we ask that you keep this conversation to the use of medical marijuana.
Thanks!!
Steph
Weed, klonipin, and abilify feel damn good in moderation. Less body high but I like that. No tingle. I'm just couch locked. Other than that I would think you're golden. Just don't go overboard. Makes me personally get stuck in my head or depression.
That would actually make sense that antipsychotics stop or hinder psychedelics.
Weed can have effects on your body, certain medications, and on a developing fetus. It is not the completely "harmless" thing that everyone wants to hype it as. I would ask a pharmacist. You can play it off (depending on where you are) as you know you can get a medicinal use license for your condition and were considering it but wanted to make sure it's not going to throw things off for you with this medication. It's also very important that if you are using or decide to start using that your doctor knows this and how often/how much you use so he can make decisions based around this use.
I'm curious about your eating rather than smoking weed. Anyway, I know that for most people, atypical anti-psychotics counteract the effects of psychedelics. I'd put cannabis as a very mild psychedelic. Specifically, Seroquel has been known to stop the effects of LSD, psilocybin & ecstasy. So I think the question isn't how cannabis affects Geodon, but the other way around.
