bipolar

I am really sad, I think I have depression, I have no friends, which aren't online, I am addicted to the internet. There are times I am happy and hyper and the next I am soo down. Do I have bipolar disorder?.

I agree with the above. I found that joining my local gym does two things. It gets my blood pumping, helping my natural brain chemistry, and it makes me meet other healthy people. Other hobbies that require interaction, but not necessarily talking all the time, are good place to start as well. Sports, lego robotics, sewing, book clubs, there are lots of options, depending on what you are drawn to. I think internet addiction is higher than opiate addiction, it may not be super healthy, but nothing to say you have a chemical imbalance. I hope you get out of this funk soon.

Sure you have bipolar disorder, this is what a psychiatrist will tell you. You are a lovely customer. clinics are open to give people meds for what else they are for. the only time i felt ok (the last 3 years) when I stopped seeing my pdoc with whom i used to see sometimes twice a week.

being addited to the internet is natural many do so. YOUR main problem is not BP but to socialize with others, being not sociable will automatically makes you feel depressed. Any human being is a sociable machine. All species are alike in this.

The last day a male chimpanzee in the Egyptian zoo died from depression 15 days after his partner (wife) passed away. Fishes travel together.

My advise TRY to make friends get involved in communities. anybody can be hyper at times and depressed also this is natural. BP is different it's a serious clinical illness, your life comes at standstill, it's delibitating, you stop functioning, you don't even want to check your mail. What about studying something etc...life is full of interesting things, do some effort in trying to understand the people around you. Make pretext to meet others, ENLARGE your field of interest

If you feel that your feelings are deteriorating endlessly, then only you can consider seeing a specialist but only after consulting your parents. Perhaps also your family doesn't have time for you was the reason.

good luck
