cyclothymia
i have just been put on counselling for cyclothymia and was wondering how this will affect my new family as i have a four and a half month old baby and i have heared stories about people having their children taken off them for just depression.
I agree. Just being depressed isn't going to get your baby taken away. Neglecting your baby or abusing your baby would cause this. As long as you are taking good care of your baby and keeping the house clean, then everything should be fine. I have two happy and healthy kids despite my own troubles.
No if a person is taking medication and being responsible that would not cause this to happen. Its not a person's diagnosis its their specific behavior that can occur within a diagnosis or outside one.
