anyone have severe sleep problems?  I cant fall alsleep unless I take some meds. Did the meds cause insomia? Are there any meds that will help you sleep that doesn't cause weight gain?  I will soon be on Topamax,lamictal and wellbrutin.  Going off geodon and serequel.  Did well on those meds but weight gain was main issue. Im being wean off. Thanks for any comments.

Oh I also take melatonin when I am having trouble getting to sleep.

Topamax becareful with that it caused me a week of memory loss. Some meds will put you to sleep but you would need to watch that so you wont grow dependent on them. I have the same problem with insomnia. If I were you I try to go the natural route if you could. Sleep from those types of meds usually make you feel like a zombie  But everyone is different

I take Trazodone for sleep. It is an older antidepressant with hypnotic components. The nice thing is it is cheap and works well. I take 50mg an hour before bedtime. Wellbutrin can be stimulating. Lamictal can be mildly sedating.I forget which topomax is. I was only on it for a few months. Made me stupid.
