when im outside with people i hear music start playing

alright so i was wondering what the hell this is i was around a group of friends and it was later at night i was outside and for some reason i just start hearing music play it was older music a song i never heard before it wasnt scary music or even that creepy. like something that you would do the riverdance to or somthing, so i said wat the hell is that not knowing if i was the only one who could hear it but sure enough others around me heard it to because they wondered where it came from but it wasnt coming from a radio or a house or anyone we were way down a long gravel road noone one close to us and then everyone just kind of looked at me like i did it or i had something to do with it and started laughing. the music was still kinda eerie because it sounded like it came from very very very far away but was somehow still kind of loud like you could hear it clearly and perfectly, wats even weirder is the reason we was down the gravel road was too smoke a joint so we lit it up the music still going pretty strong until i hit the joint and started messing around with one of the girls i came with it was like as soon as i'd forgot about the music it had stopped.

Yes, I've heard phones ringing. I know that's random. This is when I was a kid before cell phones, so it was my house phone where I grew up. The phone would ring and ring for hours. The second I step out of the room to answer the phone it stops, when I go back it starts ringing again. No one else in the house could hear it. The phone sounded very loud and realistic but it was very scary and eerie.

When i was manic i could hear the song "dom may voo" playing and when i would get up and look were is was coming from it would change its direction, no one else said they could hear it, but who knows. I also heard brassy, classical music, which is so not my kind of music and never listen to it and would drive my crazy as it was real loud when i was trying to sleep, as i wasn't sleeping much like maybe 3 hours so it was important to get it. Very Annoying !!!

I was diagnosed with bipolar 10 years ago, and I had that problem from the beginning. I use to hear classical music.

Yes I have experienced auditory hallucinations in the past and this can happen with some types of bipolar but only a psychiatrist could provide a diagnosis and it would depend on what else is occuring. It would also depend if this specifically occurs during or before smoking or at other times as well.
